NEAR ELGIN, Minn. (FOX 47) — Now more than ever, women are opening, owning, and operating their own businesses. In fact, research by the Guardian Small Business Research Institute suggests that female-owned businesses will generate 5 million new jobs by the year 2018.

But what obstacles do they face as they grow their dream from a reality?
