Rochester police find pick-up truck in retention pond Friday morning

A Rochester Police officer found a pick up truck partially submerged in a retention pond early Friday morning. 

The officer found the truck around 1:15 a.m. in a pond next to the westbound off ramp at Highway 14 and West Circle Drive. 

No one was in the truck and it’s unknown how long the truck had been there. 

Police found a wet shoe on the embankment, indicating someone may have walked away from the scene. 

Authorities are now looking to locate the driver.
