Local business is under new ownership

ROCHESTER, Minn (FOX47) – Virgil’s Auto Clinic announced it is under new leadership.

Royal and Matt Johnson purchased Virgil’s from the Nelson family, but assures they will still be a family owned business.

Ron Nelson has decided to stay on as a service writer, so that customers can continue to see a familiar face.


Virgil’s will stay at its current location of 1101 2nd Street SW through winter and into spring. It’s still working on acquiring a new location.

The business was owned and operated by the Nelson family for the last 65 years.
