A cold and windy Thursday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Get ready to bundle up as you head off to work or school this morning as temperatures will struggle to warm into the 40s today with mainly cloudy skies. Expect rather windy conditions today as we could see wind gusts neat 30 mph with sustained winds between 10-20 mph. Tonight, temperatures will remain chilly with overnight lows dipping into the mid 20s with partly cloudy skies. Due to expected lows falling below freezing, a freeze warning will go in effect for our entire viewing area at 1am Friday morning until 9am. This freeze will likely end the growing season in our region.

Friday will feature some pleasant sunshine, but we will have to wait until late in the day before we see it. Afternoon highs will be chilly once again in the mid 40s with a light northwest wind. Temperatures trend slightly warmer heading into Saturday with highs in the lower 50s and partly sunny skies. Sunshine will remain constant for Sunday and as we start off the work week on Monday with partly sunny skies, but temperatures will fall back into the lower 40s once again.

Tuesday looks mainly dry with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s. Late in Tuesday afternoon and early evening could see a slight chance for a spotty showers. Sunshine looks promising for the midweek with temperature trending warmer back into the 50s.
