ROCHESTER, Minn (FOX 47) – A noise complaint led to an arrest of a man police said they are familiar with.
Tyrone Padgett, 34, was arrested Wednesday when police found almost $1000 worth of meth and a pack of cigarettes in a car he was driving.
Padgett also faces DWI charges after failing a field sobriety test and refusing a breathalyzer test.
Police initially responded to a report of two men dancing in the street with loud music playing on 9 1/2 St. SE around 7 p.m.
An RPD officer arrived to find Padgett and another man and woman in their thirties parked in the street.
Police said Padgett smelled intoxicated which is why the officer request he take a sobriety test.
A small amount of marijuana was also found in the passenger’s seat before the meth was recovered.
Police then seized the car Padgett was driving and released the man and woman he was with.
