ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – Rochester Public Transit announced Tuesday that it will provide Rochester residents with a fare-free ride to and from their assigned polling place.
Riders are asked to let the driver know that you are going to vote or coming back from voting and no fare will be charged for the trip.
RPT said it provides bus service to many, but not all polling places.
RPT also said that some stops may require a walk of up to a quarter mile.
