Cerro Gordo County maintenance worker struck by car

SWALEDALE, Iowa (FOX 47) –  A Cerro Gordo County Conservation Maintenance worker is struck by a car Thursday afternoon in Swaledale, southwest of Mason City.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 9000 block of Indigo Ave. just after 1 p.m.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 61-year-old Robert De Los Santos from Sheffield was driving south, when he hit 22-year-old Isaac Bartz from Mason City.

Bartz was taken to Mercy North Iowa Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
