ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – All of us here at FOX 47 are proud to bring you the latest news, weather and sports each night.
We’re taking a look back on 2018 and your stories we’ve been able to tell.
There were lots of positive memories here at FOX 47 this year, as we highlighted all the good going on in our community.
From a Kasson girl raising funds for a much needed merry-go-round at her local playground, to Wanamingo’s Granny Basketball team.
FOX in the Morning’s Jack Keenan tried his hand at a variety of jobs in his series, “Jack of All Trades.”
He hit the ice with the Rochester Grizzlies, and even joined an ABBA tribute band.
We also awarded 12 more Jefferson Awards to worthy community volunteers.
From making handmade quilts for children, to coaching Special Olympics athletes, our winners are all making a difference in the lives of others.
We tackled some important issues, like Project Lifesaver, which helps locate missing children with autism.
We also explored Chrohn’s Disease and a Chatfield woman’s mission to use her diagnosis to help others.
We looked into the growing stress placed on farmers, and how local college students are using their architecture studies to help Habitat for Humanity.
FOX 47 is proud to be a part of this community.
Thanks for inviting us into your homes and for making 2018 a year to remember.
