Icy roads cause school bus involved incident in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX47) – Icy roads contributed to a two vehicle incident Thursday morning according to the Rochester Police Department.

Around 9:30 a.m. authorities responded to a minor collision, involving a school bus, near the intersection 19th street and 21st avenue northwest.

According to the officer on scene, the icy road surface caused a white Cadillac to hit the back of a “First Student” bus.

No children were on the bus at the time of the crash and no one sustained any injuries.

The back of the bus did not appear to sustain any damage. Both parties were able to drive away from the incident.
