TRAFFIC UPDATE: Northbound lanes of Hwy 52 in Rochester reopened after jackknifed semi accident

UPDATE: Traffic is now flowing again on Highway 52 (as of 10 a.m.) after a jackknifed semi truck blocked off the northbound lanes. One person is being treated for an injury.

A State Trooper on scene said a woman sustained minor injuries to her leg and was brought to the hospital by Gold Cross.

A Honda CRV and a semi truck were the only two vehicles involved in the accident, but a pickup truck and a sedan nearby were involved in unrelated accidents.

Traffic was completely stopped for at least half an hour.

While traffic has resumed, drivers are reminded to use extreme caution as the snowfall continues.


ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – A jackknifed semi truck is creating travel problems on Highway 52 between 19th Street and 37th Street NW. The accident happened around 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Northbound lanes are completely blocked off.
