Dodge Center man set to run 200 miles for a worthy cause

ILLINOIS (FOX 47) – A local runner is set to take off Thursday afternoon on a jog that won’t end for days.

Nate Bailey is in central Illinois for the Potawatomi Trail run, a 200 mile run to raise thousands of dollars for a worthy cause.

The Dodge Center man is running for Next Chapter Ministries, a nonprofit working to build lasting relationships with people who have been impacted by crime.

Bailey wants to raise $2,500 for the group through a go-fund me page. He’s well on his way, with thousands of dollars already in the bank.

Bailey has until Sunday to finish the race.
