KTTC Chief Meteorologist

Southeast Minnesota’s #1 television station has a rare opening for a Chief Meteorologist.  KTTC, the NBC affiliate in Rochester, Minnesota, is looking for a passionate leader who puts the safety of our viewers first.

KTTC is the Weather Authority for all Southeast Minnesota and northern Iowa.  You’ll have all the tools you need to deliver everything Mother Nature throws at us:  WSI Max, five live skycams, and an army of loyal viewers who contribute photos and information from the ground.

KTTC’s next Chief Meteorologist needs to understand the importance of severe storm coverage.  From spring and summer tornadoes to winter blizzards.  Our chief needs to be a great forecaster, excellent communicator and calm under pressure on every platform from television, KTTC.com and social media.

KTTC NewsCenter is the market leader, committed to the highest standards of broadcast journalism excellence and community service.  Rochester itself is known for its incredible quality of life, with Mayo Clinic and IBM among our strong corporate citizens.

KTTC is proud to be a Quincy Media station.  Learn why our family-owned broadcast group has a reputation as one of the best media companies to work for at www.quincymediacareers.com.
