Woman faces felony charges after alleged vacuum thefts

ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – A woman tried to steal one too many vacuum cleaners from a Rochester Target store, according to officers who made the arrest over the weekend.

Police arrested Desirae Frank, 23, around 6:30 Sunday evening for potential felony theft charges after they say she was caught shoplifting four vacuums from Target North.

In fact, this wasn’t her first time leaving the store with a vacuum this month, according to authorities. She was allegedly caught on camera stealing three vacuums on April 5 and two vacuums on April 7.

Target security recognized her from video of those incidents and called police. According to RPD, the total theft of all nine vacuums is valued at over $3,600.
