The breezy, cool, soggy weather we dealt with on Monday is already out of the picture today as high pressure is building in from the northwest, making for a bright and pleasant Tuesday.
We’ll enjoy sunny skies all day long with seasonably mild afternoon temperatures in the lower 60s and a slight north breeze. Overall, it looks like a prime example of late April weather today.
Sunshine will combine forces with a gusty southwest breeze Wednesday helping temperatures warm into the lower 70s for the afternoon hours, making it the warmest day of the week. Temperatures will be about ten degrees above the seasonal average.
A weak cold front will produce a few light morning showers Thursday, otherwise, don’t expect much of a cool down initially behind that front as afternoon sunshine will warm temperatures into the mid and upper 60s.
Cooler air will trickle in for Friday, but at least there will be plenty of sunshine and high temperatures will be in the upper 50s. The weekend itself will be even cooler thanks to a couple of storm systems that will roll into the area from the west in what looks to be an increasingly active weather pattern. We’ll have gray skies and brisk winds with periods of light rain Saturday and high temperatures will only be in the upper 40s. Rain will develop again by Sunday afternoon with brisk winds and high temperatures will be in the mid 50s.
