ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – A jury is set for a murder trial underway in a Rochester courtroom Tuesday.

26-year-old Alexander Weiss is charged with second degree murder following the Jan. 2018 incident in NE Rochester.

The shooting came after a traffic accident on a Sunday morning at 31st St. and E. River Rd.

According to court documents, Weiss told police the teen blamed him for the accident and threatened to beat him up. But, a witness told police that is not what happened.

Attorneys continued to question jurors during Tuesday morning’s session.
