ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX47) – Animal protection, companionship and love can be epitomized in Rochester with three simple words: Paws and Claws.
Since 1976 The Humane Society has been a SE Minnesota leader in dog and cat rehabilitation and adoption efforts. Those efforts include partnering with other pet clinics and veterinarians from across the region to rescue stray, abandoned or lost companions.
Once brought in from the street the first step is to give each four-legged friend a preliminary examination.
That “check-up” signifies each animal’s start on the road to adoption and it’s where the next Jack of All Trades begins.
You can find more information on the Zumbrota Veterinary Clinic co-owned by Dr. Mike Strecker here.
If you’re interested in volunteering or adopting at Paws and Claws see their website here for more details, rules and policies.
