ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – Another construction project kicks off in Rochester Wednesday and it’s closing a bridge.
Work is getting underway on the 7th Street Northeast Bridge over the Zumbro River. The project will rehabilitate the historic bridge.
Once complete, the bridge will be able to accommodate heavier vehicles and buffered bicycle lanes will create more mobility.
During Phase 1 of the project, 7th Street Northeast will be closed from the east side of the bridge to 11th Avenue Northeast.
