ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – A man had to be pulled from a ravine early Tuesday morning, according to Rochester authorities.
It happened around 12:15 a.m. west of Cascade Creek, in the the area of the Mayo Clinic Ambulance building off Civic Center Drive.
The man was unable to get out of the ravine and was about a hundred yards from the bike path which follows the creek. First responders tell FOX 47 they’re not sure how the man got there, but a Rochester police officer said it might have been an accidental fall.
The man suffered unknown injuries.
Crews used a rope rescue system to pull him out while he sat protected in a rescue basket.
