Pleasant sunshine today; Thunderstorms possible this weekend

A few rain showers fell overnight and look to see dry skies for the rest of today. Anticipate for a pleasant end of the week thanks to a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid 70s. Winds will be gusty out of the southwest between 10-20 mph with gusts near 35 mph.

Tonight, clouds will move back in with a chance for showers after the midnight hour. Overnight lows will be in the lower 60s with much lighter winds out of the southeast.

Clouds skies remain constant into Saturday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms arriving during the afternoon and lasting overnight. We’ll start to feel some humidity sneak in as dew points rise into the lower 60s with afternoon highs in the mid 70s. The threat for severe weather is not expected. A few lingering showers are possible into early Sunday morning, otherwise conditions look dry with some sunshine for Father’s Day. Afternoon highs will be cooler than normal in the upper 60s thanks to a passing cold front.

We’ll manage a short break from the rain, kicking off the start of the work week. Anticipate highs in the lower 70s with mostly sunny skies on Monday. Similar conditions continue into Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s and mostly sunny skies. Rain chances move back in overnight.

Our active weather pattern resumes Wednesday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms with highs in the lower 70s. The chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms continue into Thursday with the potential to see occasional sunshine. Temperatures look to warm into the mid and upper 70s by Friday with a chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
