Large bullsnake found in Hastings bathtub

HASTINGS, Minn. (FOX47) — Hastings Police were in for quite the shock Monday afternoon after responding to a giant bullsnake found in a household bathtub, according to the City of Hastings Government Facebook page.

According to the city, the homeowners are working on a bathroom remodel and it’s possible the bullsnake got inside because of construction.

Minnesota Wildlife Control says bullsnakes are native to central and southeastern Minnesota and are usually between 4 and 8 feet long.

After snapping the memorable photo, police released the snake into the woods.
