ST. CHARLES, Minn. (FOX47) – There are a few guarantees this time of year in Minnesota. The days are hot, the bugs are out, and the county fairs are coming to town!
Wednesday, the Winona County Fair opens its gates in St. Charles for five days of fun. The opening ceremony and flag raising begin at 4 p.m.
The carnival fires up at 5 p.m while square dancing gets underway at 7 p.m.
Another popular feature is the Winona County Historical Society’s rural heritage museum. Attendees get the chance to step back in time to explore the area’s AG history. I
The museum is open until 7 p.m. each day of the fair. The carnival lasts until 11 p.m.
