ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX47) — A man was arrested yesterday after police said he told a woman in her front yard that he would break into her home and sexually assault her.
According to the Rochester Police Department, 38-year-old Brandon Carmichael approached a woman that was doing yard work around 1 p.m. on the 600 block of 5th Avenue Southeast in Rochester.
Police said Carmichael told the woman that she is attractive, and then began to circle her yard, driveway and sidewalk.
He then allegedly told her he would commit a sexual act on her. She took a photo of him and said she would call police.
Carmichael then told her he would break into her house that night and sexually assault her.
He walked away, and police said they located him on the 500 block of 4th Avenue Southeast.
Carmichael is facing felony harassment and disorderly conduct charges.
