Single-digit highs again Wednesday

Cold temperatures will be sticking around for one more day. Highs on Wednesday will be in the middle single-digits with partly sunny skies. Clouds will begin to increase during the evening and will keep temperatures right around 0° for overnight lows into Thursday.

Warmer conditions are back in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. Highs will be in the middle and upper 20s on Thursday and then in the lower 30s on Friday.

Snow makes a return to the area on Thursday, Friday, and potentially on Saturday. Several quick moving systems will bring the chance for light accumulating snow.

First, late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Accumulations should be minor but could cause some slick conditions on the roadways. Another round of snow will be possible on Friday afternoon. Temperatures will be close to the freezing line and some minor mixing could take place. Meaning there will be the chance for more of a wintry mix on Friday.

Another system could bring light snow to the area Saturday afternoon and evening. Accumulations are expected to be minor with this round too.

Temperatures drop back into the middle teens for highs next week and that trend looks to continue through most of the week.
