LAKE CITY, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A home child care center has its license suspended after a child in its care was hurt.
The license belongs to Amber Eggenberger for the center she runs out of her home in Lake City at 610 West Elm Street.
The Wabasha County Department of Social Services recommended to the state that the license be suspended immediately, after it determined children in the program were at an imminent risk of harm.
The suspension took effect Thursday.
Wabasha County received a report that a child sustained severe injuries at the home on Jan. 8.
