As snow continued today, roadways remained mostly unaffected as accumulations were minor. Light snow will continue tonight but temperatures will stay mild, with a low of 27 degrees in Rochester. The clouds will be sticking around tonight and tomorrow.
You can expect a few lingering flurries for your Friday as the low pressure system slowly makes its way towards Michigan and high pressure moves in from the Dakotas. That high pressure will keep us snow-free for the weekend and into the beginning of next week. Friday snowfall accumulations will be light to trace amounts.
Above average temperatures have dominated the month of January, giving us a mild start to 2020. Those warm temperatures are expected to continue into next week until the end of the month, however cooler than normal temperature may be moving in for February. For now, we'll continue to enjoy the warmth while it lasts.
