Teen hurt by garbage can thrown from downtown Rochester parking ramp

ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX47) -- A 14-year-old girl was injured Saturday night in downtown Rochester after two people threw a garbage can off a parking ramp.

According to the Rochester Police Department, the girl was walking with two adults around 8 p.m. in the area in front of Victoria's restaurant.

Police said there is surveillance footage of unidentified male and female suspects tossing a garbage can off the third level of the parking ramp.

The girl went to the hospital with non-serious head, neck and back injuries.

Police are still searching for the teenage suspects.
