We saw a beautiful sunny day across the region Saturday with similar conditions expected to continue into the start of the new week. Tonight, temperatures will be in the mid 20s with partly cloudy skies and light southwest winds at 5-10 mph.
Sunshine continues into Sunday with mild temperatures in the mid and upper 30s. A mix of sun and clouds will be seen throughout the day with a light west wind at 5-10 mph. Afternoon temperatures will hover near freezing on Monday with partly sunny skies, making for a great start to the work week.
Tuesday could see a chance for some accumulating snow in the region, starting early in the morning, lasting into early Wednesday. It's too early to tell how much will fall or where the highest amounts will be. This is a part of a low pressure system coming out of the four corners region and should stay well to our south, not raising too much concern for travel in the area, but if there is a shift in the storm track that might change. High temperatures will be in the lower 30s with breezy winds.
A few lingering flurries are possible early Wednesday morning and staying cloudy the remainder of the day. Temperatures cool down into the lower 20s Wednesday with highs only in the mid teens with sunshine returning Thursday.
Temperatures warm back into the lower 20s on Friday with partly sunny skies. By Saturday, our area could be looking at highs back in the lower 30s with a mix of sun and clouds.
