ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- What says you're appreciated like a free pancake breakfast?
Saturday morning The Salvation Army in Rochester hosted a breakfast to thank and recognize the community and voluntters.
This comes after a record setting 2019 Red Kettle Christmas Campaign- raising more than 1.2 million dollars.
Rochester Salvation Army Corps Officer Major Lisa Mueller said this organization is a volunteer driven army.
"We raised more money this Christmas season than ever in the history of the Salvation Army's work here in Rochester. So we're thrilled and we are so grateful that we just wanted to do something fun as a thank you to everybody," Mueller smiled.
With a new record set the stakes are high for the upcoming year to continue to serve 12,000 people annually in Olmsted County.
