UPDATE 9:00 p.m. The BCA says the missing girl was dropped off by an "unknown male" at a North Memorial Urgent Care facility.
She's been identified by and reunited with her mother.
The girl was unharmed.
UPDATE 5:30 p.m.: The BCA now says the man and child located previously are not actually the ones being sought by law enforcement. Chanelle Jones remains missing.
UPDATE 3:26 p.m.: Chanelle Jones has been found safe in Minneapolis, authorities announced. The St. Paul Police Department thanked everyone who assisted in looking for her.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX47) -- The St. Paul Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing 7-month-old.
Chanelle Jaliyah Jones is believed to be with her father, Jamal Lamarr Jones, 21, who assaulted the child's mother before taking the child, authorities said.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said it is unknown in what direction he traveled, or what method of travel was used.
