Kasson woman suffers life-threatening injuries in 2-vehicle crash

NEAR LAKE CITY, Minn. (FOX47) -- A woman from Kasson suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Wabasha County.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday on Highway 63.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 31-year-old Trista Hager was driving north on Highway 63 in a Toyota Highlander while 58-year-old David Shafer, of Clarkfield, was going south in a Ford F-350. They collided near 712th Street.

The State Patrol said Hager suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Mayo Clinic Saint Marys.

Shafer reportedly suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System-Lake City.

Mayo Air Ambulance, Lake City Ambulance and the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office were all at the scene.
