Though the weather has been beautiful, we've seen incredibly dry conditions for the past few weeks. In fact, Rochester's last rainfall over a quarter of an inch was 9 days ago! Thankfully we have some rain chances on the way to help those gardens and fields grow.
We will stay dry for the first half of Wednesday, starting out sunny and increasing cloud cover as we head into the afternoon. Expect spotty, scattered showers to begin around 5-7 p.m across the area, lasting into the overnight hours.
It looks like overnight will be our best chance for a bit more widespread shower activity before it becomes pretty scattered again for Thursday morning. It looks like showers could linger into the early afternoon on Thursday. Unfortunately, rainfall accumulations look to be less than a quarter inch for most by Thursday evening.
As we continue towards the end of the week, temperatures will continue to be on the rise back towards our seasonal averages. We'll see warmer than average highs for the weekend, and that trend could carry through mid-August!
