An approaching cold front will put an end to the summer-like conditions we've been enjoying the past few days!
We'll manage to reach the low 70s by the afternoon before the cold front has a chance to push through. Once it does move through the region, temperatures will quickly drop into the 50 by evening, and low 40s overnight!
Temperatures will stay in the 60s (even low 60s!) for the following days before rebounding to the 70s by next week. Notice that our average temperature will continue to decline pretty quickly over the next few weeks- fall is definitely right on our doorstep!
The cool and dry air behind the frontal boundary will keep most rain chances at bay this week. Minor chances on Saturday and Monday, hopefully we can get those chances to increase to help hold off worsening drought conditions!
