A cold front moved through the region today, keeping our temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. Even colder temperatures will spread across the Midwest tonight, with frost and freeze warnings for the northern half of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
A few of us could dip into the upper 30s tonight but no worries of frost just yet in southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. Average first frost dates range from late September through the first week of October, and those dates are approaching fast!
Temperatures will stay on the cool side through the end of the week, high temperatures topping out in the mid to low 60s, with overnight temps in the 40s. High temperatures will slowly climb back into the 70s for the start of next week, so we're not fully diving in to fall just quite yet!
