Despite the nice taste of early spring that we've had through the first two weeks of March, there are still 9 more days of winter left! Rochester usually sees over 8 inches of snow in the month of March. The last time we saw less than an inch of snow during the month was back in 2010 when we saw no snow.
We are keeping an eye on a system that has the potential to bring snow back into the region. That will move in on Sunday night into Monday morning. Temperatures will make the system a tricky one, but it looks like some snow accumulation is possible, followed by some rain/snow mixing.
Until then, we'll continue with sunny and mild conditions as temperatures stay a few degrees above average for this time of year. We've dealt with very breezy conditions for the past few days, and thankfully winds will be a bit quieter on Friday and Saturday before gusting up again on Sunday.
Sunday night and Monday are our only precip chances in the 7-day forecast. Otherwise, we'll see sunny and quiet conditions!
