Rain showers struggled to hold together as they pushed through southeast Minnesota today, leaving many of us completely dry. Some storms did move through Mason City and Dodge Center, but the rest of us will get a better chance at rain late tonight.
Another wave of showers will move through after midnight tonight, and hopefully, our atmosphere will finally have enough moisture to support them! Scattered showers will continue through Thursday morning, becoming isolated during the afternoon.
I think many of us still are looking at about a half-inch to an inch of rain by Friday evening, though some isolated towns could see just under a half-inch. Hopefully, we'll have a better chance at a good soaking of rain this coming Monday!
Scattered showers could linger through Friday, and possibly through Saturday morning but will become more isolated. High temperatures will decline to the low 50s by Saturday, then rebound to the 60s on Sunday thanks to some sunshine.
