Showers moved through the region last night, bringing a light dose of rainfall for most of the region. Rain totals ranged from just under a half-inch to a tenth of an inch after showers wrapped up by late morning.
Another light round of showers will push through the region after midnight tonight, scattered showers lingering through the lunch hour on Friday. Additional rain totals won't be too significant, only about another tenth to a quarter-inch for most of us.
We'll stay dry through Friday evening and into the weekend. Clouds will hold through most of Saturday, only allowing temperatures to warm into the low 50s. Then we'll briefly be back in the 60s on Sunday before cooling down for the rest of next week.
Notice that overnight lows will cool near freezing next week, so you'll want to cover up any sensitive plants that you may have already planted!
