ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – Multiple armed suspects invaded a Rochester apartment unit after an arrangement to buy marijuana.
Police said the victim, a 19-year-old man set up a drug deal with 18-year-old Nelson Soro from Rochester.
The 19-year-old man reportedly opened the door a unit at Eastwood Ridge Apartments around 10 p.m. Thursday and four to six people rushed inside.
The victim told police that at least two of them had guns.
A 20-year-old woman in the home was struck with a hard object and was later brought to the hospital for bleeding from her face.
Other tenants allegedly started to appear in the hallway. That is when the lookout group told the rest that it was time to go, and they all fled.
Police made three arrests later that night, and all face charges of first degree burglary and second degree assault.
Nelson Soro was arrested in the 2600 block of Georgetown Pl. Northwest in Rochester around 3 a.m. Friday.
Ngor Mabor was arrested after allegedly fleeing police on in the 1400 block of 4th Ave. SE around 12:15 a.m.
Mohamed Mohamed was taken into custody in the 2500 block of S. Broadway around 3 a.m.
Police said this group is well known to them and they are still searching for the other suspects involved in this invasion.
