Mason City fire officials identify woman who died in house fire
MASON CITY, Iowa (FOX47) — The Mason City Fire Department has identified the woman who died from injuries sustained in a house fire that broke out on Monday.
According to the fire department, 60-year-old Rhonda “DeeAnn” Lloyd was the occupant of the house who died in the fire.
The fire department said firefighters responded to call around 9 p.m. about a house fire located at 777 S. Eisenhower Ave. They were at the scene until just after 1:45 a.m.
According to the news release, investigators determined that the cause of the fire “appears to be smoking material.”
